Obituary
Vicky L. Nussbaum, 81, of Fort Wayne died February 1, 2021 at Parkview Memorial Regional Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN surrounded by her family. She was born June 24, 1939 in Anderson, Indiana and was the daughter of the late Leroy K and Wanda K. (Hurley) Grove. She was a wonderful 81 year old mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of St Jude Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids, her Catholic faith, singing in the St. Jude’s choir, traveling throughout Europe, going out to eat with her friends, and loved spending time in her garden. Vicky was truly loved by all and she will be greatly missed. Vicky was a retired kindergarten teacher at F.W.C.S. Survivors include daughter, Holly (David) Kinniry; Son, John M. (Carrie) Nussbaum; Three Brothers, Roy Hurley Grove, Stephen Grove, Lee A. Grove; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am, Saturday, February 6, 2021 at St Jude Catholic Church, 2130 Pemberton Dr, with calling one hour prior. Visitation will be held Friday, February 5, 2021, from 2:00pm- 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm, with a Rosary Service at 3:30pm, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude School & Church.

When VIcky walked into choir practice it was like she brought the sunshine with her. She was kind to everyone. She will be missed.
