Donna and the Roy family, We started out as neighbors, but quickly became true friends. So many evenings on our porch or your patio. You and Tom were such good listeners. Encouraging us. You were always watching out for the neighborhood. We admired the wonderful marriage you had. The humor you shared every day. You are such great parents and we could see the respect each member of your family has for you. Tom fought for so long against the disease and Donna you were right there with him too. May God give you all peace during these difficult days……as Tom walks the streets of gold. We will miss him so very much too…….Love,
I am blessed to have Uncle Tom and Aunt Madonna as my godparents. I never thanked them enough for the great examples they were for me. They always had the ability to make me feel special even when there were 20 other cousins around. I probably wasn’t their “favorite” godchild, but they made me feel like I was. I always enjoyed the holidays and birthdays spent with them as they both had the ability as my godparents to show me great examples of a strong family and strong faith. If I think back, I can still hear Uncle Tom’s distinct laugh from upstairs when we were all playing in their basement. He just made the family gatherings more fun. I will carry the memories with me and continue to pray that he has found peace.
Deb and Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of loss. We have made a donation to the NE Indiana Honor Flight in memory of your dad. My father was able to go on an Honor Flight out of St Louis 2 years ago and he still talks about the experience as does my brother Mike who went along as dad’s guardian. It is truly a worthwhile organization to support. Love, Mollie & Bob
