Obituary
Terrance “Terry” W. Lundquist, 81, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. Born in Fort Wayne on June 10, 1942, he was the son of the late Walter and Constance (LaMaster) Lundquist. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy. Terry worked for Zollner in Fort Wayne for 40 years until retirement. On October 19, 1963, Terry married the love of his life, Sharon (Roush). They spent the next 60 years together, building a life and watching their family grow. When not working, Terry enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, watching NASCAR and Indy Car racing, and traveling. Faith was important to him, and he was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. Terry enjoyed volunteering in the church food pantry. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sharon Lundquist; children, Terry (Kristine) Lundquist and Tammy (Tim) Winans; grandchildren, Andrew (Lily) Lundquist, Austin (Allyson) Lundquist, Ali (Matt) Weber, Grant (Kaylee) Dowell, Michael (Emily) Winans, and Mary (Mikayla) Winans; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Don Lundquist; and sister, Sandra (Bob) Charleston. Terry was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Gary (Tina) Lundquist. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne (46819) with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A Rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. Entombment at Catholic Cemetery with military honors following the service. Memorials can be written to the St. Therese Food Pantry and St. Therese Catholic Church in Terry’s name. Condolences can be left at www.divinemercyfuneralhome.com for the family.
