So very sorry to loose a friend like Rodney they don’t come along very often in a person’s lifetime.God bless you Rodney see you later.
My condolences to the family of Rod. I was a classmate of Rod back in college and I spent one summer living with his family on the farm as I worked construction earning money for attending the seminary. I will never forget the kindness and generosity of Rod and his family as they took me in as one of their family. Rod was also part of our wedding party. I share in the sadness at his death but rejoice that he went to be with his Savior on Christmas Eve….. What a joyous Christmas for Rod.

My love and prayers to Marilyn, the girls and their families and Rod’s family. We enjoyed so much our time together in my younger years at all our holiday gatherings and of late our baseball tournaments in Fort Wayne. What a blessing we were able to travel all the way from ND to watch baseball in Fort Wayne and spend that precious time with him. And the photos he took were priceless. May God’s love wrap you in these days.
So sad to hear about Rodney! I remember he thought me how he did his Pre-construction Video taping and documenting. Times have changed; but my appreciation will not. I’ll miss a good-spirited friend.
So saddened to hear of Rod’s passing to eternity with his Savior, Jesus! I pray that Marilyn and the rest of Rod’s family can rest in the comfort and assurance of Christ’s abundant love, and know that with CERTAINTY, Rod resides with his Savior, Jesus Christ!
Selfless…a simple word to describe Rod. Because of Rod, Emily and I have something we will truly cherish. I got Rod to video our wedding. He wasn’t sure about doing this especially because wedding videography was not his line of work. However, he did an excellent job. He provided us with a final product for which we are EXTREMELY thankful.
I truly appreciated Rod’s wit and dry sense of humor. His love for his family and his church family were evident! His presence will be sorely missed around Ascension Lutheran Church & School!
“You be good, Rod!”
“You know I can’t do that,” was his regular reply to my request whenever we parted company.
Thanks for the joyful memories, Rod!
Saddened to hear of my long time friend growing up together in Hutchinson, MN and the many wonderful times hanging out together and at the farm. I was delighted on 12/21 he answered my email. God Bless Marilyn and family. His incredible smile will be missed
