Obituary
Phillip was born on June 05, 1965 in FW and attended Monroeville Elementry and Heritage High School. He lived in Fort Wayne and worked as a manager at Shoe Carnival and as a loan originator at Aspen Mortgage. In 2004, he moved to New Hampshire and lived with our oldest brother, Stanley and his family. He loved the beauty of New Hampshire and adored Stan and Laura’s children. He helped raise Tommy,Reagan and Kelly and loved them as if they were his own. He took great pride and was rewarded great joy in doing this.
Phil suffered with physical ailments from the time he was born, but you would never know this when being in his presence. Rarely was heard a discouraging word from Phil. He was a joyful soul with a great sense of humor, loyalty, and honor and a lust for life. Phil was man of great faith and love. His laugh and smile were contagious and he had a natural ability to make you feel better after spending time with him.
Phil came back home to Fort Wayne in October knowing that his days on earth were numbered shortly. He passed away Christmas Eve celebrating our Lord’s birth with his family. His death was sudden and he did not suffer. He went out the way he hoped and wanted to- surrounded by those he loved the most.
Phil will forever be greatly loved and missed. We are infinitely blessed to have him as our brother. Farewell and thank you brother, for making us better people by sharing your life with us.
May eternal rest be granted upon this faithful servant, Phillip Robert Ford. May his perpetual light shine upon us all. May his soul and the souls of all loved ones who have gone before him rest in peace.
