Obituary
Patricia Lou Hoeppner, 78, of Fort Wayne passed away on the 7th of October at Parkview Randallia. Patricia was born on the 5th of June, 1944 to Richard and Vera Hartman. She attended and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1962 and remained an active member of their alumni. Family always came first. Along with being a member and part of the board of the Central Catholic High School Alumni Association she was also actively involved in bridge club. Her hobbies included planning the annual family Christmas party and working on family genealogy. She loved to be around the water after growing up spending her summers at Little Crooked Lake in Columbia City, IN. Patricia is survived by her children, Sherri (Randall) Recht, Stephen (Michelle) Hoeppner, and Christopher (Kara) Hoeppner. Her sisters, Marolyn (Leon) Krauss, Carolyn (Dale) Snyder, and sister-in-law Barb Hartman. You are in my thoughts
Patti and I enjoyed a lot of good times together while in high school at Central Catholic. I live out of state so mostly we reconnected at high school reunions. Always had lots to talk about and shared good memories. My sympathy to the family in your loss.

Patty and I would do genealogy together. Once, Patty, my mom, Maurine (Hartman) Gensheimer, and I went down to the 412 Club on Washington Street to have a look around. This building was the original location of the Hartman Brewery which opened in 1853. This was the first commercial brewery in Fort Wayne! Patty got them to let us look in the basement. We saw a really old, thick door down there. We imagined that this is where there stored the barrels of beer. Patty was always so sweet and friendly. We will miss her.
Sorry for your loss. Thinking of you
My deepest condolences to the family. Sorry that I’m not able to make it to the visitation.
From your cousin,
Maurine (Hartman) Gensheimer

We have so many fond memories of spending holidays and special occasions with Patty. She was always a joy to be around with her great stories and tales of family history. We are grateful for the time she spent helping Mom in her later years.
Just wanted to say I am sorry to hear about the passing of your Mother Chris. She was always your biggest fan and supported you and your friends and teammates. She always made me feel welcome and I always appreciated her hospitality. Thankful for our promise we will live forever.
Marilyn & Carolyn: my condolences. Had a lot of fun discussions with Patty at the city county building, years ago. She was fun.
