Obituary
Michael S. Patterson, 80, of Fort Wayne and Adams Lake, died December 11, 2018. Michael was born September 10, 1938 in Fort Wayne. He was the son of the late Sidney and Constance Patterson. He was a stock broker and financial planner for 49 years, retiring in 2004. Michael was a 50 year member of Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and also served our country in the U. S. Army. He was president of Patterson Securities, past president of the Fort Wayne Investment Association, member of the Rotary Club, Pine Valley Country Club and the Elks. Michael is survived by his children; Marceil (Salvatore) Cuono of Tampa, Fl, Kelly (Paul) Sturm and Colette (Thomas) Steigmeyer both of Fort Wayne, IN, Steven (Amee) Patterson of Alexandria, VA, Shawn (Lisa) Patterson of Fort Wayne, IN. and Nicole (Michael) Biberstine of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Madeleine Couno-Scarnecchia, Dominic Couno, Ryan Sturm, Amelia Sturm, Erin Sturm, Laura Steigmeyer, William Steigmeyer, Elsa Patterson, Reyna Patterson, Benjamin Patterson, Sophia Patterson, Tony Patterson, Grace Biberstine and Grant Biberstine. Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Ryan Patterson and brother, Ted Patterson. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, 10:30 am, December 15, 2018, at Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd with calling one hour prior. Visitation will be held Friday, December 14, 2018, from 2 pm – 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, with the rosary at 3:30 pm. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorial contributions may be made to Masses, TLC Breast Cancer Foundation or Make A Wish.
