Kelly Patrick Lynch left this earth to join his heavenly family on August 26, 2020; a few months shy of his 50th birthday. The youngest of 7 siblings, he is survived by his sisters, Renee (Gary) Keltner, Barbara (Stephen) McMurray, Lisa (Mark) Weides, Nancy (Scott) Mentzer as well as his brothers Gregory (Katherine) Lynch & Michael (Peggy) Lynch. Kelly is also survived by many nieces & nephews, whom he loved very much. Kelly was preceded in death by his parents, Paul & Janet Lynch. Kelly graduated from New Haven High School in 1989. He completed his bachelor's degree in accounting & finance from St. Joseph, Rensselaer, Indiana in 1993. Kelly was a CPA and started his accounting career in Ft.Wayne at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Crowe Horwath LLP. In 2002 he moved to Arizona and landed his job at Henry & Horne, LLP where he worked his remaining years as a tax manager. An avid sports lover, Kelly played center for the New Haven Bulldogs and was proud of their sectional title win his Senior year. He continued his love for all sports, especially following Notre Dame football and IU men's basketball. Kelly was always tuned in for athletic events & loved to discuss with family & friends. Kelly also became a trivia buff, playing on a team who competed and won several times as the Trivia Champions. He also had a great love for music, especially classic rock music, but loved listening to various artists. Kelly always had a smile on his face with his easy going disposition and great sense of humor. His family & friends will miss him dearly, but they know he will forever be with them. Cheers Kelly! We love you! A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, September 12th, from 1PM-4PM at Divine Mercy Funeral Home 3500 Lake Ave, Ft. Wayne, IN 46805. Preferred memorial to the Ft. To all who stopped by the funeral home last Saturday or posted memories here or on Kelly’s Facebook page, thank you! All of Kelly’s family appreciates your well wishes and prayers during this extremely difficult time.
Kelly was my high school locker neighbor. My maiden name was Luther, so the Luther and Lynch lockers were next to each other for our 4 years of high school together. Kelly was a gentle and kind soul, as well as hysterically funny. He was a “cheerleader” during our senior year for the powder puff game, and he let me put mascara on him as he and the other football players dressed up as cheerleaders for the game. I don’t know why I remember this, but he had the best eyelashes. He will be missed.
Thank you for sharing, LeeAnna! We love hearing from all those who knew him.
To the Lynch Family, So sorry to hear of Kelly’s death. Our prayers are with his family. A good neighbor & friend when we lived in New Haven. Rest In Peace, Kelly.
Thank you!!
Love and Prayers to All of Kelly’s friends and family. May God be with you all.

To the family and friends of Mr. Lynch–I’m very sorry for your loss. Nothing like this kind of grief was ever intended for the human family, and God promises that he will one day erase from our hearts the pain it brings – [Revelation 21:4]. I hope the thoughts of that verse can bring you some comfort now, as they have me.
So sorry for your loss. Kelly was such a wonderful person to be around.
