I am terribly sorry for your loss. My heart truly breaks for your family during this very difficult time. May the God of all comfort provide you with strength. (2 Corinthians 1;3,4). Sending all my love.
I had the pleasure of working with Jeff for most of my 17 years at Fort Wayne Air Service as a part-time receptionist. I remember when he got on the Fire Department and how excited he was. He was always very nice, a hard worker and was always smiling. Most of the line personnel at FW Air Service all had nicknames. Jeff\’s was Gern, don\’t know why, but he answered to that good-naturedly. He is gone far too soon, may your memories and the prayers of us who knew him help comfort you through the difficult days ahead.
Leighton and family, I’m sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Much love, The Smith and (Alexis) Johnston Family
Danette, My thoughts are with you and your loved ones as you grieve and celebrate your love and the life of Jeff. I hope that you all will find peace in remembering the good times and love shared. Meloney
I had the difficult task at times of telling you no at the end, because you wanted to still keep going even after you were unable to and being your nurse when you were getting ready to leave. We stayed up together during the day and at night, when it was just the two of us. You were always doing something, reading, working, playing your guitar, and you even figured out that fancy cooking machine and made us wings for dinner. It’s not the same, waking up in the middle of the night and not seeing you out in the living room, it just feels like a void, I miss you so much and I am going to miss you. I just know that whenever we see an emergency vehicle flying by here, it’s you reminding us that we are not alone, you are watching over our all of us.
