Jim was a class act that I have known since our freshman year at Luers, Until last summer we were doing monthly lunches with a small group of Luers grads. Jim’s sense of humor and feel for humanity will definitely be missed. Being a Boiler fan, I am really missing trading friendly barbs with Jim this basket season. My very best wishes to Jim’s family.
I have so many wonderful memories of Jim that it’s hard to know where to begin! One of the most kind, warm, friendly, helpful and fun people I’ve ever known. Quick-witted and hilarious, there were always loads of laughs when Jim was around. Whether working together at Lincoln Life or when our families would get together for cook-outs, garage sales, camping trips and more, a good time was always guaranteed. He and JoAnn spent so much time with my mom and dad, they were like a second set of parents to me. Jim was my dad’s best friend for over 40 years and the two of them together was literally a laugh-a-minute! To Joe, Dot, Kathy, and Sarah: Let your wonderful memories comfort you during now and always. No doubt your dad will be watching over you, always. Love and hugs, Pam
Our deepest sympathies to you all.
We have lived miles apart for years, but our hearts have been close to our oldest friends. We shared many happy times and will miss making new ones, but will treasure what we have.
Our best to each of you. Love Donna & Jerry
I had the joy of working with Jim and Aon. And I say joy because he truly was fun, engaging, and a true pleasure to work with. I am blessed to call him not only a colleague but a friend. He will be missed and I will be keeping the family in my prayers.
Our hearts are broken over the loss of this wonderful man. He and his amazing wife were a part of a gourmet group that we were a part of for many, many years. His infectious laugh, caring spirit and loving personality were such a joy. The world has lost an amazing person. So glad that we have the memories to carry with us. Prayers for the family.

I have cut Jim’s hair for over 25yrs. We always enjoyed exchanging stories about our families. He was such a great guy and I will truly miss seeing him every 2 weeks. My deepest sympathy to your family, may he RIP.
I knew Jim for many years while working at Lincoln. I always knew him as a friend. The last time we drank a beer together with other Lincoln retirees was 2018. We spent a few hours together reminiscing and laughing together. I will miss him. My sincerest condolences go out to Jim’s family.
Dear Snyder Family, Your Father will be missed by many people. I first met Jim when we were all neighbors on Warsaw Street in Fort Wayne and then realized I worked with him at LNL! It was a pleasure to work with him, he was always fun to be with. I am so sorry for your loss. Rest in Peace my friend. Jane (Jackson) Schurr
I am so sorry for your loss. Your father was an amazing guy. We worked together at Lincoln for many years.
Jim was such a good person. He was always soft spoken and kind to everyone. I imagine he was an amazing father, and friend. Although I am sure that everyone he knew, considered themselves his friend.
You were blessed to have had him as a part of your lives.
