Fr. Larry was my friend since seminary days at St. Gregory’s. I remember his ordination, along with Fr. Jim Wolf, at the Cathedral. He was always joyful and positive in preaching the Gospel, and always had a kind word for me. I am always grateful for his family, parishioners at St. Jude’s along with my family, and my dear classmates, the Tippman Triplets, Nancy, Sally, and Carly. Memory Eternal. Rest In Peace, Larry.
To my dear friend Fr. Larry, Words cannot convey the great appreciation for his priestly ministry and example for our son, Jacob, and daughter Kristen, as he welcomed us as a new St Joseph school family and the overwhelming support for our family in the following years. Our children made their 1st reconciliation and 1st Communion during his time at St Joe. Our children are better Catholics because of his example. What a lucky guy you are to be among the angels and saints and with so many, including my Mother. Continue to pray for us, may you rest in eternal peace.
Father Larry, Thank you for your spiritual guidance when I was walking my path to becoming a Catholic at St Joseph. I still hold the wonderful memories in my heart, of the day you baptized and confirmed me in church. You will be missed by many,
Prayers for my friend Fr. Larry. He took a chance on this girl from New Jersey and hired me as his Religious Education Director 20 years ago and I was able to begin my ministry in this diocese of teaching theology…my passion. Thank you Father. I love you and will continue to pray for you, until we meet again, God willing, in the Kingdom. Meg
