Emily Soellner, 92, of Fort Wayne died August 12, 2020 at Saint Anne Home, Fort Wayne, IN. Emily was born October 16, 1927 in Chicago, IL and was the daughter of the late Nicolas and Mary Kalata. Emily was a member of Saint John he Baptist Catholic Church in New Haven, IN and the Book Club of St Anne's. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Yorke of Fort Wayne, IN and Diane M (James) Cation of Minocqua, WI; son, Jeffrey K Soellner of Monona, WI; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; sister, Rita Szabo. Emily was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A Soellner, sisters, Ann Raber and Martha Haberkorn, brothers, Vincent and John Joseph Kalata. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church New Haven IN, 943 Powers St. with calling one hour prior. Burial will be in Mt Olivet Cemetery in Elkhorn, WI. Memorial contributions may be made to Masses or the St. John Paul II Medical Institute 2500 Crosspark Rd, Suite W230, Coralville, IA. 52241.

Aunt Emily had a beautiful smile!!! I remember she loved birds. Every time I see one I think of her. We have another angel watching over us! Love you guys!!❤️❤️
Aunt Emily such a kind hearted, warm and welcoming person with a smile you never forget. Loved the stops in Elkhorn while taking Mom and Dad back and forth to Michigan. Much love to all of you!
