Obituary
Ellis G. Ryan, 77, of Roanoke, passed away Friday, May 10, 2024 at his residence.
He was born on January 24, 1947 in East Liverpool, Ohio to the late Ellis E. and Stella (Fowler) Ryan.
On April 10, 1965 he married the love of his life, Patricia Quirk. She survives in Roanoke.
Mr. Ryan worked for 25 years for Global Tool & Die and retired from XY Tool & Die in 2011.
Ellis was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Roanoke. He was also a Past Potentate and Recorder of the Mizpah Shrine, a 33rd Degree Mason, an MSA member of the Scottish Rite, and a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus.
He is also survived by his granddaughter Ashley (David); great-granddaughter Miyah; and siblings, Sharon Frane, Ronnie (Wilma) Ryan, Jimmy (Peggy) Ryan, and John (Thelma) Ryan.
Also preceding him in death were daughter, Marilyn Ryan; and siblings, Dwayne Ryan, Gary Ryan, Linda Sheets, Larry Ryan, and Debbie Khaliq.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, May 17, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 641 North Main Street, Roanoke with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. & 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m.
Memorials may be directed to Shriner’s Hospitals for Children or Parkview Hospice.
