Obituary
Daniel Russell Gibson III, 26, of Fort Wayne died June 13, 2018 at Parkview Memorial Regional Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN. Daniel was born August 21, 1991 in Fort Wayne to Daniel R Jr and Donna Gibson.. He was a member of Laborers International Union Local 213 and worked for Brooks Construction. Daniel earned the highest honor in Boy Scouts by achieving his Eagle Scout. He enjoyed working on his truck, hunting and fishing and loved spending time with his daughters. Daniel is also survived by daughters, Kloe and Anna Gibson; brother, Joshua Gibson; grandmother, Mary Sustek; grandfather, Daniel R Gibson, Sr.; two aunt and uncles, Regena and Kevin Davis and Steve and Lori Sustek; cousins, Ahriah, Hunter, Lexi, Tyler and Andrew. Daniel was preceded in death by his grandfather Stephen Sustek, and grandmother Judy Ann Lewis. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Friday, June 22, 2018 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 2213 Brooklyn Ave with calling one hour prior. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 21, 2018, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, with a vigil at 3:30 pm. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorial contributions may be made to: Kloe and Anna’s Education Fund, C/O Donna Gibson.
