Obituary
Cheryl A Kennerk, 74, of Fremont died November 13, 2020. Cheryl was born to the late Richard and Jean Craig on December 6, 1945 in Indianapolis. Cheryl was a wife, mother, and an elementary school teacher (Harrison Hill). She was a graduate of South Side HS ‘64; Ohio University ‘68; and St. Francis College ‘70. Cheryl was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Fremont, IN.
Cheryl is survived by husband, Edward, daughter, Allyson York, daughter-in-law, Emily, son, Neal R (Jennifer), and grandchildren, Mitchell Koop, Evan York, Ian Kennerk, Amelia Kennerk, and Moses Kennerk. Cheryl was preceded in death by her son, Erich J, her sister, Cynthia Craig, brother, Timothy Craig, and mother-in-law Glenola Kennerk.
Cheryl’s warmth will be deeply missed. So many of us were touched by her love, supported by her caring, and eased by her presence.
Due to Covid-19, the Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Hospital.

Cheri was someone I don’t ever remember not knowing. She and her family were neighbors and friends for many decades. We will miss her and continue to keep Ed, Allyson, Neil, and the rest of her loving family in our prayers! xo

I am glad our paths crossed friend
I am so saddened to hear that this totally wonderful, loving and unique human is gone from this earth….the only saving grace is that she will join much of her family in heaven…Ed, my sincerest condolences and to all the Kennerk family….may God bless you and keep you in his love….
Cheri was a kind, warm and loving person. She just made you feel good and smile when you were with her. From your “Taco Tuesday” dinner group, “Here’s looking up your address” we will miss you but rejoice that you are healed in Heaven. Love, Jim & Diane Lake
