Just learned Ceasar passed at veterans group this morning. Certainly our loss and Heaven’s gain. Always a smile and the best sense of humor. Ceasar and I both served in USMC at An Hoa and Liberty Bridge and surrounding areas and shared a lot of memories of times there. Our Monday veterans group won’t be the same. Until we meet again brother.
Cesar was one of the best people I have ever met. He never let his Vietnam experience darken his day instead he used it to be a kinder gentler man. He was always ready to help new workers at the Post Office. No more nightmares you can rest in peace Cesar.
I will always remember Cesar as a good and kind and happy co-worker at the USPS. He was so welcoming to me when I started working there 10 years ago. He was truly a ray of sunshine for all of us who worked with him. He loved life and it showed. He will not be forgotten!! My deepest sympathy to all of you. My prayers will be with you in the coming weeks.
It is a sad day for all who knew Cesar but I will always remember his humor, his dedication and his smile which would brighten even the worst of days. He was a wonderful friend and co-worker. Semper Fi.
Sorry for your loss. Prayers for you all. I worked with him at the post office, he was such a nice guy.
When I heard of Cesar’s passing it hurt so bad, but I am deeply happy that Cesar was my friend. A truly special friend. The most self-less person I have ever known.
So sorry to hear about Cesar. I was in grade school when I met him and his brother Vic. Both great guys and good school buddies. I remember playing basketball with Cesar on the PB play ground. He was really good. He was also my neighbor on Spring St. years ago. He was an avid bike rider and recently would stop by our house from time to time and talk about our younger years. It was always great talking to Cesar. May God give his family and many friends peace and strength, now, and the days ahead. R.I.P. brother. Bill and Paula Bentley

Sorry to hear of Cesar’s passing. I have a lot of childhood memories growing up with him. He lived next door to my grandparents George and Evelyn Roebuck on Polk St.. Back then that’s what it was all about. Doing things and having fun. God Bless.
