I’ve known Bob and Judy for over 30 years as they are the parents of Bob Jr, one of my closest friend. In college I remember them coming down and instantly our disaster of an apartment became a home again. Bob was always so kind and patient, and trust me we tried those virtues back then. They always created an environment of love, understanding and were there for Bob Jr when he needed them.
Later in life when Bob and Judy had their mobile home they would visit Bob Jr and Stephanie. They were true explorers and saw so many places and I’m sure created so many happy memories during those adventures. When they visited Bob Jr in San Antonio I remember Bob Jr telling me how he removed part of the fencing around his house so they could park the RV in the backyard. It didn’t matter that there was plenty of space in the front but the RV had to be close to the house to reflect the closeness they all felt as a family. Bob Jr and Stephanie always welcomed them. And while their house was light years from our college apartment it was clear that Bob’s parents brought that same love there as well.
Uncle Bob was a friendly, welcoming man who was generous and kind. I know he will be missed greatly. ️
