Barry was my second oldest brother, and I was the youngest of the four sisters, out of 8 children. People may have noted his wonderful humor and quick wit, but they may not have known he was also very gifted in drawing. One of his career paths he could have chosen was to have his own cartoon strip. His characters looked similar to the those from Family Guy, yet more exaggerated and funnier looking. Barry was a special spirit with rough edges, but I’ll remember him as a true believer in truth and honesty. He was a fearless protector of his family from those who would dare to harm any one of us siblings, especially his sons, Mike and Doug, daughter-in-law, Jenny, and Miles, his precious grandson. It was important to Barry that his sons and Miles remember the special lessons of life Barry tried to impart to them over the years. God Bless Barry’s soul and let perpetual light shine around him, always! I love you now and always, Barry. Melody Garber

Barry was simply one of my most favorite people at Coyote Creek. Every time I walked in and he was there ‘relaxing’, I could expect to hear ‘Nice hat!’. I am so very sorry to hear of his passing…what a dear man he was.
There are so many great memories and most center around golf and bowling. What great fun we had. Rest in peace my brother, love you and you will not be forgotten.
