Obituary
Alexa Desiree Cook, 25, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2020 in California following a six year battle with the demon of addiction. She spent the last five years in California trying to get well. Alexa was my roommate in sober living (Thousand Oaks CA) at first I was intimidated thinking “oh no this girl is so insanely beautiful I hope she isn’t a mean girl” & I can’t even begin to explain how wrong that first thought was. I have never laughed so hard in my life. Everyday was filled so much happiness when I was with her. We became the best of friends, just like 2 peas in a pod :). Not only was it filled with laughter, make up sharing, & clothes sharing (just like we were sisters) but I knew I could speak to her about anything & everything. We talked about life goals, similar life struggles, & what we wanted out of life. I always knew she had so MUCH potential & she could go so far in life (which I told her on a constant basis) she shared with me about her family & her love for her siblings. Always speaking about wanting to be the best sister she could be. I was speaking to her here & there recently just to say that she could still do it. It is NEVER to late. But god just got gifted the most BEAUTIFUL angel of them all. Fly high baby girl! My prayers for the cook family

Rest in Power, Alexa. I’ll always remember your beautiful smile, sense of style, sense of adventure and kind personality. I wish we could’ve spent more time getting to know each other more and exchanging more family stories. I will always cherish our pool day in the valley
