Obituary
JEAN ELLEN DENT, has gone to paradise to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, April 3, 2023. She was born on March 22, 1959 in Fort Wayne, Ind. "Our beloved mom enjoyed serving the Lord and spreading his word to all. She was a devoted mother, Mamall, and great Mamall. A beautiful, strong, amazing, vibrant christian woman, who could light up a room just from entering! Our Mom made friends wherever she went. She loved doing crafts in her spare time. As her children all know, her latest endeavor was candle making. This world truly lost one of the greatest women, mother, friend, and confidant with her passing. Life will never be the same for everyone who lost her; but our lives are so much richer for having her in them the time that we did! She left this world way too soon, but will never be forgotten!! "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life!" We will meet again! As our Mom would always say, "it's never goodbye, but I'll see you later." We will see her later! Those left to cherish her memory include her eight children, Franklin Dent, Jean"Jeana" (Brian) Potts, Brandi Combs, Zechariah Dent, Heather Dent, Stephanie Dent, Jenifer Dent, and Rebecca (Raymond) Lambert; 28 grandchildren; Hailey Jo, Dawn, Evan Dent, Whitney, Nathan Robinson, Kristen, Britney, Madison, Grace Payton, Joshua, Tori, Evan Dent, Kaija, Nayvaeh, Ammara Hart, Nicholas, Kala, Sabastin Payton, Kaleb, Skye Brock, Jasper Dent, Kai Flowers, Mia Siebert, Alula Williams, Gabrielle, Kayden, Allison, Hank Lambert; 1 great-grandchild; Rosalie; siblings; Rose, Laura, Larry Jr, Ken (Cathy), and Carl Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Barbara; sisters, Cathy and Sandy; and grandson, Leiland. A celebration of her life is 2 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2023, at Lakeside Park Pavilion #1, 1401 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne (IN,46805).

It’s almost Christmas momma bear. 8 months since I seen your face or have, heard your voice.
I am reminded of when we were little you would sing Christmas songs – Amazing grace- 12 days of Christmas- Go tell it on the mountain.
Thanksgiving was different without being able to call you and ask you how to make your stuffing. I remember when I was in elementary school we made turkeys and we named them Tom and Tilly. This year Nathan got us a big Tom Turkey. He even helped get the Turkey ready to be cooked.
My birthday was so sad with out hearing your raspy voice singing to me happy birthday. Whitney aka your puddin pie baby always makes me feel special and so loved.
July 4 was not celebrated
Easter nada.
My world always had you inside of it. And now your home with Jesus like you wanted to be.
I hope God gives you kisses and hugs from your baby bear aka your sunshine aka your Sissy.
